Are the Prequel Films Bad?

As many avid Star Wars fans might know, the prequels get hate for reasons that vary from what fans deem "poor narrative structure" to the sheer "corniness" of many of the scenes inside of the film. Despite popular opinion from the fandom, are these prequel movies actually that bad?

I would argue that, no, they're not as bad as the Star Wars community has made them out to be. Taking a look at the first film of the prequels, "The Phantom Menace", this film is perhaps the worst of the three prequels. The writing is somewhat incoherent, some of the acting is a bit bad, and as a whole, the project is not nearly as concise and enjoyable as the next two films.

"Attack of the Clones", the second movie in the prequel trilogy, is a lot more enjoyable than the first film. This second installment, apart from a few cringe-worthy dialogues about sand, brings the prequel trilogy back on track. This film includes a few notable fight scenes including Obi Wan vs. Jango Fett and Yoda vs. Count Dooku. In my opinion, this is a step in the right direction for the prequel films.

"Revenge of the Sith" is perhaps the most sound film in this prequel trilogy. It's narrative is hypnotizing, the fight scenes are god-tier, and the film brings the prequel trilogy back in full-circle. I believe that this film is the most coherent and enjoyable film in this trilogy because of it's classic elements. This general fight between good and evil is finally at the forefront of the film, and there are both internal struggles and external ones. Anakin's submission to the dark side and Obi Wan's ascension to a higher power of the light is something that makes this film special.

Let me know if you guys agree! Or, if you don't!
